THE BEST OF 2015!

One thing I have always said is that I am definitely not a music journalist!  Beautiful Buzzz was created as an outlet where I can tell my friends about all the great music I come across - and over the past few years we've grown into a fun place where people can find new tracks and listen to my stories! This Best Of 2015 list is personal; it's a combination of tracks I loved and great moments I had working with the artists over the past year - whether it was through the blog, at one of my Beautiful Buzzz shows, or just a night out on the town!!  Enjoy!!

KARL KLING - I NEED YOU

This year I have been lucky enough to grow close to this brilliant artist through a series of epic SF nights and summer weekends in LA.  Karl Kling has become one of my favorite people ever, and is directly responsible for the the most amazing phrase of the year, "KK's got your back!"  I believe it!  This week Karl Kling releases a new single that is so freaking good -- he's channeling some Death Cab for Cutie vibes mixed in with steady rockin dance pop beats! He's currently on tour with RAC, and I highly suggest getting out to a show! And Karl, BB's got your back, always! LOVE!

[NEW SHOW] OASIS FSTVL SERIES - SATURDAY JULY 11 - SAN DIEGO

The second installment of our OASIS FSTVL SERIES is announced! We are so excited for this one kids - it's going to be a rager!  Not only will summer be in full swing - this is also the same weekend as San Diego Comic Con, which means this city is going to be bananas!  This line-up tho, with the likes of Holy Ghost!, Satin Jackets, Karl Kling (1/2 of RAC), Mansions On The Moon plus a few more surprises - tickets are already moving quickly!  This will sell out so be sure to swoop yours quick!

You guys may not know this - but I have been trying to bring Le Youth back to the bay since our last show together - NYE 2013!!  He is so on fire and in high demand I kept missing my chance!   You may also not know that Le Youth is my super homie and we actually rage together all over the US - and he was #1 in our Best of 2014 list - and we both love dogs! FINALLY - Beautiful Buzzz is presenting Le Youth at Mezzanine on July 10, along with German nu-disco legend Satin Jackets, as well as another awesome homie and 1/2 of RAC - Karl Kling, topping things off with hometown hero Split!!  What??   This is BANANAS!   Tickets are on sale now and will not last! Can't wait for this one! 

KARL KLING - CAREFUL (KK HOUSE REWORK)

Here's something special to start off your weekend!!  When Karl Kling walked into our lives we kinda swooned! Besides being insanely talented and producing top notch tracks that we love, his gentle disposition and awkward nature stole our hearts from the start! He's kinda the coolest guy we know!!  AND - this year he played our SXSW show to a packed house .... and yeah .... totally slayed!! During that show he debuted this track for the first time, his own house rework of "Careful" -- and you can now check it out here for your listening pleasure. BIG things are coming from Karl Kling, it's rather exciting!!  Listen and love!!

KARL KLING - CAREFUL

Good morning campers!  Well look at this - what a delightful treat for this Tuesday morning!  Karl Kling melted our hearts with last years first signs of original material, and today we get another brilliant pop gem with new track "Careful" - we're swooning!  Being the other 1/2 or RAC, Karl Kling is all too familiar on winning the dance pop game, and we LOVE how his original tracks are showing his own creative genius.  His new track drops today via Crazy Heart Records, and you can pre-order the upcoming full length album HERE!
